A Quiet Girl
I was once a
quiet girl that had
a colorful world in her head
I’d choose to fill
my notebooks with words
instead of making friends
I was taught that the
world is cruel and
I cannot trust a soul
Someone saw me one day
and told me that
my writings are beautiful
I showed them more of
my colorful world, expressed
through scribbled words on paper
Then I learned that the
world is kind and not
everyone is a traitor
