Quiet girl

Oh, quiet girl you are so quiet

Siting there without a sound

Just watching as the world goes by

Wondering how you can say the word

They ask why you are so quiet

You cannot answer for yourself

Everywhere you go an empty chair keeps you away from others

You’re always in your thoughts

Surprise when someone says your name

You hear their words, afraid to say your own

Nothing to say, shy to say what you feel

After everyone falls asleep, you weep in silence

Oh, quiet girl just say the word

The pain will go if you say the word

New experiences will happen if you say the word

They will love you if you say the word

They will see what I see if you say the word

Oh sister, daughter say the word

You will be happy if you say the word
