Quiet Girl


my heart races like the wind through the autumn leaves, my tongue lingers uselessly as though it is a hanging fruit, my mind searches for some tired word, though every sentence seems so absurd, and heat rises to my cheek, like burning sand on the beach, redder than a wilting rose, alas i retreat to this malleable prose
