"Quiet Is the Mouse"

Why make the mice cry?

It’s not like anyone noticed,

They’re ever so quiet!

‘As quiet as a mouse’

Oh what a cruel phrase!

No voice, no words, no potential.

Poor powerless, sad mouse.

Yet frightening enough to scare an elephant,

They do not realize their strength.

And thus,

Remain small.
