The Quiet Ones
The Quiet ones,
Are labeled as unexpressed and unfun
People would rather hang with the crazy ones.
The Quiet ones,
Are nonexistent in a huge crowd
Because they don’t want to be brought down.
The Quiet ones,
Are considered weak and timid
Compared to the strong and intrepid.
The Quiet ones,
Always keep their troubles to themselves
So they won’t bother anyone else.
The Quiet ones,
May appear inaudible and shy
But there’s more to them than meets the eye.
The Quiet ones,
Choose to be completely silent
Because they are the most violent.
The Quiet ones,
Choose to be voiceless in a huge crowd
To prove you don’t have to be loud and proud.
The Quiet ones,
Choose to be muted and calm
Unlike those that are ticking bombs.
The Quiet ones,
Choose to have their voices and all thoughts go unheard
Because silence speaks louder than a thousand words.
