Quietly Waiting

Alone in the dark, Every moment darker, Nowhere to hide, Clouded by judgments, persistently confusing Afraid of Rejection. Reason to tear, the dew on the grass, Being taken for granted. Possibility of wrong, scars my soul. Infinite Wounds –forevermore Decisions, consequences, what happens next? The Future is Scary. Trying to let people in, but fear of knowledge Allows none in. The hurt could be great, my heart is fragile I am a glass vase, easily broken My real emotions are far, Far from the surface. Alone I wonder.
