In Quietness there is Healing
I would sit down with my friend rip my clothes and put dirt on my head and be silent at first, let them say the first word.
Alot is said in a silent room its as if quiet rushes the emotions through, I am by nature a fixer a peace maker, so for me to be quiet is darn near impossible I have to quench the desire to spit out a mouthful.
I myself have been through hell and back having 3 children pass away I can relate to loss, and sorrow and the desperation of waking up tomorrow.
I can relate to so many sad things and the darkness that each one brings, nothing and nobody could help me out of this reoccurring
nightmare filled with hopelessness and despair.
Tried every drug out there prescribed or not, none helped no matter how high I got, I have other children that needed me but not even their cries moved me.
Til one day someone sat with me and said nothing, I was grateful for there presence and their wisdom of not giving an opinion.
Day after day they came back sat down so quietly, what was once comforting was adding to my insanity.
I finally stood up and said your driving me mad, they said good I've done my job then, I started to laugh and just like that I snapped back

No my life was far from normal but from that moment on i let God carry my burdens and my life slowly got better.
So I would say to my sad friend when they tell me I'm driving them mad,
good I'm doing my job and smother them with all my love.
