The Quilted Future

Through multifaceted pieces, shapes and colors form, Blending together to create a quilt that breaks the norm One thread of heroism, another an ambition patch, Crashing through parameters and breaking the latch A strand of equality represents compassionate souls; Optimism and hopefulness patches any holes The woven threads and stitches honor the past, Promising equality will progress our society fast Children playing with other children create the future; Equality, perseverance, hope and love are the cure
