QUITE OFTEN BY CHANCE

QUIET OFTEN BY CHANCE

Quite often in your life;

As if unplanned,

There are meetings

Of divine appointments so,

Often incredible are which,

When:

Coming from one’s heart and charity.

And so;

When I first met,

This Florence Nightingale

Of the Mental Health set,

Firstly, she reassured me,

With a welcoming smile,

‘twas coming from a tender heart,

And on this journey be,

We two have grown close to ensure

On what she offers me,

On mostly a daily basis has done;

Encouragement of wonderous charms

To reassure this old sailor lad,

And ain’t I’m glad;

That I have Stevie Wonder on my side

In my time out here.
