Quite Simply Me
To have a voice
is why I write.
To be heard
is why I write.
To make a choice
is why I write.
To believe in my words
is why I write.
To give life to thoughts
is why I write.
To breathe creativity into reality
is why I write.
To fight the fight that needs to be fought
is why I write.
To makes words become everything they can be
is why I write.
To escape from the troubled world
is why I write.
To hide inside my mind
is why I write.
To show I am not a lonely girl
is why I write.
To bring life from darkness to light
is why I write.
Why do I write?
I write because I am me.
I write because I am not afraid.
I write because I have things to say.
I write because it is my life.
That is quite simply why I write.
