The Race

Trapped in the hood; there are only two exits. Go with the flow, get locked up or knocked up Or run against the rough winds, take a chance, and climb up the ladder Of hope, love, and freedom. No, I'm not better than the people who surround me, No, I don't want anyone to get left behind. Lets become friends and we will take on this Race. And defeat Poverty, Crime, Violence, and Ignorance. Lets run towards the light; for a better view Of Life on the other side.
