She leaves for work, her second job. Still making sure she made food for her family Feet sore and eyes red from lack of sleep. Hard work... Many would not understand the words. She clocks in and begins her day. A lady appears unhappy As she attempts to cater to the women. The lady yells at her " go back to your country "she sais "We dont want you here" she sais " your taking all our jobs " she sais She paused and thought about this for a min. She wondered what she had done wrong to anger her. She wondered how she had offended her ? For simply being. Why does this women hate me? Ive done nothing to her. Is it perhaps that she is out of work herself. Is it that she is just having a bad day . Is it that she lacks culture and family in her own life. She works all day , taking grunt jobs that nobody wants. How could providing for her family be offensive . Moments later her boss walks in to see why the customer is upset. Naturally assuming he would come to her defense after this womens racial slurs. Her boss apologizes to the customer for her experience, and scolds his employee on her customer service skills. In a country in which we care more about consumers then our employees. In which we care more about race then hard work. Police are liscensed to kill if the person is black. The government can forcefully take your child and lock him up in cages. For simply coming to this country in hopes for a better life . As so many did before them. An entire country of immigrants . She wonders WHY she expected more . Sadly this is her America .
