Racing Hearts


She is sitting close but not close enough for him.

He gestures with his eyes for her to come closer.

His open muscular arms are eager to embrace her.

She sways with glee,

rests her head on his broad shoulders.

He holds her gently, touching her kindly.

His tenderness had touched her yet again.

His racing heart confessed his love for her once again.
