Racism Still Exist

Color is defining who are we but not who we are

We allow the past to judge our present and create our future

Racial profiling and racism never died, it just partially faded

Black on black crime, black on white crime

Why do we only know two colors between black and white and what’s right?

Racial slur being dropped like bars for a rap song

Young children being taught to discriminate and hate friends where they don’t see color only true friendship,

Slavery may have been abolished, but racism still lives on

Racism is not born with a human

We are taught to hate

Color is a way to show who is at the top.

In reality, is there a such thing as color?

We mistake color for a nationality or a race

Color is just the skin you are in

We are all God’s children

Why hate your brothers and sisters?

Why was it created?

People put others down just by the way they look rather than characteristic of that person

Ignorance is bliss and

Has been transferred from generations to generations and will never end

BUT to those who listen,

Have a kind heart and raise your voice

Stand your ground and announce to the world,

That racism can disintegrate with the help of people standing together for one purpose

And I asked you this one simple question

What color defines you today?

Do you entertain racism?
