Rage or Anger?

Rage or Anger?

I think there is a difference.

I might rage when I'm angry

Or spit angrily in a rage

but they're still not quite the same.

Rage is when

You lose control

You lose patience

You lose tolerance

You give up, in a way.

Give up on restraint and reason

and let your fury ignite.

Anger is something quite different

Anger is when you clearly dissent

You do not agree

You are saying no no NO

but anger is still human

And dictated by reason

And easily directed

In the right direction.

Anger or Rage?

I think I'm more on the side of Rage

But Anger has its turns too.
