Rain

She watched the rain as it fell to the ground.

She watched the sky cry and wished she could cry like that.
Why could the sky release its emotions but not her?
Why could the rain hit the ground and not care that it was not wanted, and she couldn’t?
Why did she care that no one wanted her?
All she wanted to do was be the sky.
She wanted to cry.
She wanted to be the rain,
The rain that no one wanted.
The rain did not care that it was not wanted.
But she cared that she was not wanted.
