Rain

The rain is pouring down

And it’s like a million marbles hitting the ground.

 It’s a never ending melody

Or at least, that is what it seems like to me.

It has gone on for days

And the tornadoes come out to play their games.

The days seem like the nights

And nothing ever seems to go right.

People lose their lives

And husbands lose their wives.

Children sit and cry

Because they can't believe their eyes.

But somehow, I love the storms.

It’s very peaceful, and it makes me feel warm.

I could watch it constantly

And it could never bore me.

The lightning flashes

And the thunder crashes.

The only thing that scars,

Is that I can't see the stars.

But it will be okay,

Because they will always be there another day.
