Rain
Here, right at this moment, in each other's arms.
Maybe for once I was happy it was raining, I had told her before that I never liked rain. She laughed that beautiful laugh of hers and I leaned down to interrupt the sound that I loved so much.
The blush that I meant for appeared on her face and she whispered my name softly so the wind could blow it away.
We were close though, as I said before and I could just barely hear it. I leaned closer, to her ear, kissing her cheek softly as I went.
I pulled her body against mine and slipped my arms around her fragile waist, pulling ourselves up out of bed.
Whimpering as we went from the lost of the warmth of the blanket, she moved closer into my arms.
I pressed my lips against hers and moved us by the door, opening the door with one hand while the other wrapped around her waist securely.
"Pitter patter" the rain sounded as it fell against the open door, I tugged her wrist gently and pulled her to stand in the rain with me before bowing at her gently. I took her hand in mine and placed a kiss upon it before pulling her body towards mine, moving my body to the silent song that we were both thinking of.
As long as I got her to stay with me, the price of dancing in the rain was just fine with me.
---
Maybe.. I could grant that one dream for her for the price of her staying.
