The Rain

The rain comes down, the rain is inescapable;

The rain it drowns, drowns all who are incapable;

And the shadows dark, the dark spot follows every man;

But the shadow grows, it grows engulfing every plan;

And when the shadow grows, it turns into the darkness;

And the darkness grows, growing like an evil Harkness;

Never to die, but with time it only ages;

Growing ever stronger, yet some men it never phases;

And as it grows, there is flooding every day;

Leaving nothing left behind, men and women fall it's prey.
