Rain

Rain pours as I stare down a puddle in the sidewalk. Years passed since I last saw her We live separately in different regions of this golden state. With different views, and different philosophies. Yet each kiss we shared, that did not matter. Her writing brought attention to my eyes. As it was the first time I saw the fire inside her. I could not live without it. Without her writing, I would not causally smile down this puddle. She was not a normal girl. Nor was I a normal boy. Yet she guided me in many ways that make me smile like a fool. After looking down I smiled happily and saw the sun coming out My heartbeat was steadily rising, But I smile widely, walking down a street with a heart-shaped box in my hands.
