Rain

My beautiful heart has a stain

left by the pitter patter of the rain.

Tears fall from my dirty green eyes

as I watch him leave without saying goodbye.

Lightening fills the cracks in my soul

trying its best to make me feel whole.

A thunderous roar cries out to dignify

the pain that will never leave me throughout the sky.

Yes, my beautiful heart has a stain

from when you left me in the rain.
