Rain
Glistening jewels that lace your skin and mine
Unknown mysteries encased in clear beads
They hide the tears that fall from my lash line
They water and nurture the unborn seeds
A pretense of angry, heavy, grey clouds
Look, the sky cries, mourning the hidden sun
The darkness conceals the light it enshrouds
Creatures hide in fear, none are seen, not one
A storm ensues, the waves cry in torment
The water crashes unforgivingly
As fast as it as it arrived, it promptly went
The wind dies down, all is calm in the sea
The sun peeks out her head, warming the land
The waters recede, her rays dry the sand
