The Rain

What am I supposed to do

What am I supposed to say

When all I can hear is the echos that reside inside my brain

All I want is the silence

All I want is the rain

But all I get is the howling of you yelling my name

PLEASE!

STOP!

This never ending cycle

Of anger and shame

Just eats at my heart

I wish it'd go away

Th etears just keep falling

As I see you pretend

While we keep on fighting

Deep inside our brains

But we live in silence

We can now hear the rain

But our bond is broken

An that is how it'll remain

Until words are spoken

And the silence is gone
