In the Rain

I am watching you come apart

As you stand out in the rain

Does it wash you?

Rinse you of your sin?

The purple-blue hue

waiting for the storm to begin

I always did wonder

Does it help you forget?

I watch as you rise

Lightning crashing violently

To God you apprise

Crumbling silently

Who is your judge?

He can's save you from me

Too late to confess

You're in my crosshairs

You are seeking redress

They always get theirs

In the end

I watch you come apart

As you stand in the rain
