Rain :)

you made me too numb to cry.

so tears dropped from the sky.

i never liked rain,

I always found it symbolized depression and pain.

you showed me the beauty in the weeping clouds,

how the tiny droplets would effortlessly hit the ground,

the beauty of the dancing trees,

you gave me your jacket because my arms were beginning to freeze.

one thing more beautiful than the rain,

is when the night sky started to clear,

and the stars began to appear,

you always said you loved the stars,

in fact:

i grew to love them too

it’s funny how they seem to shine a little brighter,

now that one of them is you.
