Rain

Let the rain wash away all my sorrows, Let it rinse away all the problems in my world, Let it drown away all the tears upon my face, Let it fill the emptiness in my heart, Let it erase all my memories of the past, Let it spill the stupid thoughts from my head, Let it make myself be “me” again, And then once the storm parts, a new beginning begins.
