Rain

Rain comes down in pails.

Occasionally it hails.

I don't want to be inside.

I want to go OUTSIDE.

I want to sing in the rain,

but wet clothes are a pain.

So I stay inside,

And I must go hide.

I read and read in the room of books,

tucked into one of the nooks,

and then I go bother the cooks,

who give me dirty looks.

They tell me to get out!

So I leave with a pout.

And I wander and whine,

and sniffle and rhyme!

And finally the rain is done,

and I must go and hide,

because I had too much fun

causing mischief INSIDE!!!

The End.
