Rain
Listening to raindrops
as they fall upon the ground
Soaking trees and cars and houses
water falling all around
Watching little ripples
as each drop of water falls
Reminders of the echoes
walking down abandoned halls
Watching every crack and crevice
fill as puddles form
The trees turn dark and waterlogged
until after the storm
Such a peaceful atmosphere
on my roof in the rain
Becoming one with raindrops
as I lose myself again.
