Rain

Salty rain drops fall from my eyes, like the oceans replaced the skies. How could they do that to her? A childs spirit and heart, mind of a woman. Lock her up in an icey cave. The heavens no longer fall upon her, the goddess now ignores her words. She's not crazy, just misunderstood. Unknown to the world is her grace, her beauty lost in the make up of the world, her life forsaken by all. Until the day, they let her go. The goddess now covers her with gifts. Her life meaningful once more. The rain no longer falls.
