Rain

Bone white, the tinted light

My eyes blur

      As fingers bury deep

The warm leather pockets

      A satin-like heat

Drops slide slovenly down your chin

As I trace along

Escaping in shades of marbled gray

Seeds wet

     Right into my feet

Spores cling tight

    Along his yarn scarf

Misted breath of earth

Rain.
