The Rain

Drops of water fall from the sky

wetting everything that passes by

streets are full of puddles

young lovers start to cuddle

dirt starts to get muddy

theres no way today will be sunny

little kids start racing raindrops on their glass window

patiently waiting to see that beautiful rainbow

The sound that the rain makes

is like a bottle of water being shaked

The feeling you get when it touches your skin

All over you body you begin to get chills

like a dry land full of little hills

Rain! Rain! Go Away!

Let this day, be a beautiful day

Don’t ruin it for everyone

Bring a smile to our faces

Go drop your rain in the other places

Let us see the shiny sun

to come out and have fun

what a shame

that we can't go out and play some game

just because of the rain...

Nice poem... the way you tied in the themes and still made it rhyme is outstanding
