Rain Drops
Here I stand alone in the rain,
I stand here with this horrible pain.
Do I really have anything to gain,
by being alone and holding on to this terrible pain?
Do I still remain in your eyes as I did then,
or am I really just a friend till the end?
Can you give me a sign,
a piece of hope?
Or is it my lesson to stand here and cope?
Fear is inside me,
and all I have is this fake smile to hide me.
The eyes hold sorrow,
the heart holds tears,
and you my darling,
have me holding a handful of fears.
Can you take my hand and make it go away,
or will you say maybe another day?
What will it be an when because,
I'm at a dead end.
