Rain Drops

Rain drops are like tears Full of sorrow and fear I closed my eyes to stop the pain But I can still hear the thunder and the rain Sitting by the window with thoughts of the past My face pressed hard against the glass I try to wipe the rain drops off my face But memories aren’t easy to erase Reminiscing of a picture on the wall A lonely night the rain fall With lighting and thunder all around I can’t stop the rain from falling down My eyes red as the rain pours My heart can’t take any more I closed my eyes to go to sleep But nightmare makes my heart weep I dream of days pass this storm I dream of days moving on I dream of rainbows in the skies I dream of no more tears in my eyes
