As the Rain Falls

As the rain falls upon the green earth,

An overwhelming sensation

Arises within the paths of sunshine.

It drowns out the sounds of the crying souls

Seeking shelter and comfort

And love…..

The rain dissipates

But the melancholies grow

Not only larger,

But deeper as well.
