Rain. Let it rain in my soul.

Just seven minutes and twenty eight seconds can make such a difference in your life.

Emphasis on such.

Because we think differently. We act hastily.

We don’t think much after.

But when we do we realise.

There was a kink of sadness in her voice.

You could have seen a shimmer in her eyes.

When she talked about her mother’s demise.

It was fate and yet no one could surmise.

That the sun had set and it was a new day. It was a new sunrise.

Making its way from the brink of our horizons. Our eyes couldn’t see it much, you know.

They were shimmery and couldn’t see much during the sunrise.

It was cloudy in our hearts below.

We could cry with the rains falling from the skies.

We could hide in the folds of the rain falling from the skies.

We could dive deep within ourselves in the petrichor of the rain falling from the skies.
