Rain Pattering - like little footsteps

Rain Pattering -

Like little footsteps

I hear it through the stillness -

of a cloudy day - Peering

out the window to hear

the trumpets play -

Plants around - dancing to the noise -

winds were getting strong - People

all around-eyes looking at me -

wet as the day - witnessing one last

time - in that Room

Packed my possessions - the last

things of me - right then disturbed

by the rain pattering - now laying there

listening - little footsteps taking me away
