Rainbow


When a rose wilts it changes colors And as you withered you did the same You were red with embarrassment when you discovered your fate Green with envy at those that did not share it Gray with apathy toward those that stayed by you Blue and darker still as your time drew near But i displayed my pink proudly; i knew you were not to blame You were possessed, my rose, by a black demon called Cancer
