Rainbow

Love is an innocent white,
like the purest of snow,
Love is a curious red,
It urges your heart to know,
Love is a blazing orange,
Because with it everything else seems to glow.
Love is golden yellow,
Forcing good feelings to flow,
Love is a vibrant green,
Letting the Jolie laide* grow,
Love is a deep dark blue,
Because with it time seems to slow,
Love is a rich purple,
That lets all emotion show,
Love is a somber black,
Because (if it’s real) it will be there high or low
