The Rainbow

What is a rainbow but everything?

A rainbow is every emotion: hurt, anger, and pain

A rainbow is red like my cheeks when I see you

A rainbow is orange like the juicy fruit

Rainbows are yellow like your bright, beautiful smile(:

They are also green for that sickly feeling inside

Sadness of course is what makes a rainbow blue, full of tears and disappointment ):

Purple is the color of those marks upon your skin

There is brown in the  rainbow to remind us we are all colorful

Last but not least, there is black in the rainbow for those who feel hurt and for the decisions they feel like making

The rainbow as a whole is a symbol of pride for those in hiding 

But for me, the rainbow is everything in life... the rainbow is me.
