Rainbow/ Colourless

There was a greyness in her eyes

That I couldn’t surmise.

When words flow they flow like the river,

But her eyes today glowed, glowed for an unprecedented lover.

I couldn’t look past her dark grey irises,

Swimming inside out at my brown little irises.

I could only delve deep in what I thought was her mystery,

She never spoke much except for her smile, which gave away her soul in a sweet and peaceful symphony.
