Rainbow Drops

This rainbow is dripping droplets? Some red some green some blue The yellow ones havent fallen yet But I'll let you know when they do The're landing on the pavement before me Creating a colourful oil slick A kaliedoscope with imagination Coating each and every brick Its God, he's painting the landscape That's the yellow ones falling now It's beautiful like being in a photograph That's painted by God somehow I'm taken down my umbrella Cos I want the colours on my face I want to be like a chameleon Unique from every other race Our city is getting painted To make everyones lives not so dull This rainbow's bleeding tears of joy Colourful ones bright and brill.... It snakes through the streets like a cobra Slithering through all the cracks Beautiful droplets of rainbow Making even more beautiful tracks I wished I was that rainbow Sprinkling people lives with colour Making their faces smile with joy Uniting us like brother to brother. I wished I was that rainbow As it kisses the ground making art Keeping the people who live here Find inner peace in their heart The rainbow has come for a reason And not just to brighten up our days But to make us stand back and look at ourselves And to hopefully change our ways Life don't need to be dull or grey The rainbow he knows this all to well My soul is dancing in his carnival Celebrating where his colours have fell. I wished I was like that rainbow He don't care what anyone says His Job is to paint the town today And to brighten out dullest of days...
