Rainbow Heart

In the dark is a rainbow heart,

All glass and crystal spikes so sharp

It hangs suspended by the moon,

And rings an empty icy tune.

No light will shine and there release,

the cascade colors to the breeze,

of ancient Venus's breath.

So there still waits a rainbow heart,

All glass and crystal spikes so sharp.

Until the day it must depart,

And fall unto the floor in glass,

and slivers of a light once passed,

So close and yet so far away,

So in the dark the heart must stay.
