Rainbow Tears

Rainbow tears fall down your face
Red for the blood you have lost from those nights when you just couldn't take it anymore.
Orange for the fire that crushed your dreams, memories and your home.
Yellow for the sunshine you wish would shine through your window on a depressing gloomy day.
Green for the color of your eyes, the pain and misery I can see within them.
Blue for the cold hearted bastard that cared not one bit about how you may have felt.
Purple for the bruises that you put or your body because you thought you deserved them.
Pink for the blushing of the cheeks from that one person in the crowd who is smiling because they know this poem is about them.
Rainbow tears fell down your face
And I was there at the end of that rainbow with a pot to clean it all up. I was there to protect the gold that was held within you. I held your secrets and stories. I was your Leprechaun. Your lucky charm. The one who saved you from self harm.
