Rainbows

Remember the time
When kids
Went outside
Entered the world of imagination
Objects of this world
Became new creations
Of their own fan fiction
Making prediction
To reality
Where nothing
sad to see
Because truth is
This is the only place
I can be me
And let anyone into my world
But they could never see
What i see
Says the little girl
Where did all the color go
I look at today
And see that the
Glitter doesn't hold gold
So why do the adults
Let the mold
Take over their
Children's mind
Leaving their innocence behind
To grow up so fast
I thought being young
Was supposed to be cherished
Not lashed
So why does everything look
So bleak
In this picture
Where has the color gone
Better yet what went wrong
Children don't go outside
Anymore
Ask them
They can't speak anymore
Because their so busy
With evolution
We don't talk anymore
But send text acronyms
Versus writing notes
It became obsolete
Just like social interaction
When did ignorance
Become so popular
All i know something
Has to pull together
maybe it was when
We started asking for more
Knowing if we explore
Someone was going to follow
With this chain reaction
The kids of tomorrow
Will deal with more sorrow
Because they lack
A strong mind and back
To handle what will soon be
On their shoulders
If the answers lies in the clouds
Imma need the dreamers
To wake up
People to pick up
A sheet and start making
Smoke signals
Before
The world
Goes dark
You can never start a fire
If there's no spark
