Raindrop

Have you ever wondered how it feels to be a single raindrop falling so heavily with one self; everyone going on their way like nothing happened, no other raindrops to fall with you… to be entirely alone? What if instead of hitting rock bottom— where you obliterate —you land on a human being walking about their business and strike them? They notice your wet body. And as a little raindrop like yourself, you are content with the fact that at that very moment, you impacted their life; they impacted yours. You are forever embedded in their flesh and will never be alone again. That’s how love feels. It just hits you without you even realizing it, and soon enough your life is impacted with such an amount of force that you’re dizzy and light-headed— like someone throwing a rock at you telling you to wake up, but instead you become unconscious.
