RAINDROPS

I close my eyes and feel the raindrops on my head, my arms, my legs I breathe in the cool air and silently pray that the water will hide my tears I feel as if the world were crying with me releasing the built up flood The dam has broken and now I stand alone all else swept away i stand and cry and let the rain run off my shoulders like a river of pain there is no shame no fear of being seen I am invisible I close my eyes and feel the raindrops soon the storm will pass
