Rainfall
Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day. Rain clouds fill the sky as a bolt of thunder shakes the earth. Storms frighten me, especially now. The strong wind howls at my door as I huddle under my covers, pleading for it to go away. It doesn’t. Clouds file through my open window and drench me in sadness. The cold is unbearable. The noise is terrifying. I close my eyes tightly and send up a hope to someone in the sky. The rain continues for a moment, but then all is clear. The clouds are gone and the howling wind has left me. Warmth fills my soul as peek out of my covers and see the sun, the white flag in the battlefield.
