Raining and Pouring

It's raining! It's pouring!

That old man is still snoring!
And I'm soaked but not dripping!
It can't be possible. Or can it?

First I was sunburned
The sun rays raised an array
Of happiness. An epic colored display like blue ray
Ultraviolet like goosebumps spreading
Like cancer.

Such is the sunrise. Such is the sunset.

Ah but something is a - brewing;
The horizon is prepping a canvas with
Light lightning strokes complemented
By heavy rolls of Thunder.

The torrential downpour begins
And I'm soaked but not dripping!
Impossible! How can it be?
I'm drenched by the display while under this canopy

Check out this art exhibit of water,
The next time cumulonibus clouds come together
Even with a roof overhead, you'll be soaked
Cuz when it rains, it pours!
