Raining Tears

The raindrops are falling tears.

While being outside I can feel them drop.

I haven't felt this way in years.

And the sound of the rain drops won't stop.

Often times it is too cold.

And my body goes numb.

When I have no one to hold.

Since I let you go I have felt dumb.

But there are times when pain goes away.

And the sun always finds its way through.

I'm glad you decided to stay.

Because I was so lost without you.

It's true that you don't know what you have until its gone.

I am so proud that I have you to lean on.
