Rainy Day

The rain falls softly on the ground

A symphony of soothing sound

The world is cloaked in misty grey

On this calm and peaceful rainy day

The trees dance in the gentle breeze

Their leaves adorned with raindrop beads

The flowers bow their heads below

As nature's tears continue to flow

The earth is cleansed, refreshed anew

As the rain washes away the dew

The air is cool, the sky is dark

Yet in the rain there is a spark

A feeling of peace, a sense of calm

As the raindrops fall like a psalm

A reminder that in life's storms

There is beauty in their forms

So let the rain wash over me

And cleanse my soul so I can see

The beauty in the darkest days

And find joy in the rainy haze
